On a day to day basis the kitchen is looked after by our head chef John Taylor. John has been chefing since he was 13 years old and has been a chef in Perthshire since he was 17, when he first worked at Parklands. John has also worked at Gleneagles, Bridge View Station and Kirklands Hotel amongst others. John has a solid 2 rosette background and has worked at Parklands for over 6 years in total. John enjoys designing season menus with local and Scottish produce for our bistro and restaurant.
Graeme Pallister is our Executive Chef.
Graeme trained at Kinloch House Hotel in the mid 90s and has since worked at Longueville Manor Jersey, The Angel in Sussex, at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie Gleneagles, and Perth's Lets Eat where he was head chef for 2 years.
Although still involved in the Parklands Hotel, Graeme's main focus is his award winning restaurant, close to the hotel. 63 Tay Street as his signature restaurant using the guidelines of LOCAL - HONEST - SIMPLE. Graeme was crowned Scottish Chef of the Year at the Catering in Scotland Awards 2013 and is a Masterchef of Great Britain
