Born and raised in Perthshire, Steven McPhee has taken up his first Head Chefs role after learning his craft in some of the areas finest establishments.
Starting off in The Cairn Lodge Hotel, Auchterarder as an ambitious fifteen year old commis chef, He was keen to watch and learn all the tricks of his trade before moving on to work under both Tony Heath and Willie Deans at Lets Eat.
His next accomplishment was his first sous chef position at The Parklands Hotel and 63 Tay Street to work alongside Graeme Pallister before a short spell in The Fortingall Hotel, Aberfeldy.
When the opportunity to return to The Parklands arose, Steven jumped at the chance to bring his own style to the food and its restaurants.
